Installing Screen-Spy Software

Installing Screen-Spy is extremely easy. After you order you will receive an email with detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to download the program and start the installation. Screen-Spy is then secretly placed in Windows startup routines without using the "StartUp" folder.

Once Screen-Spy is installed it loads automatically with each computer boot in super stealth mode. This means it is invisible from task bar, task list, close program, etc. Screen-Spy starts recording screenshots immediately after finishing the installation.

Accessing The Interface

After you complete the installation, it's time to learn how you will access the program's interface. Remember, there are no icons whatsoever. The following sequence is how you will also access the interface in the future. It will be easy to remember after a few times.

1. Close any open programs or windows so that you see your desktop.
2. Click once anywhere on the blank area of your PC's desktop.
3. Hold CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+I all four at once. A password box will appear.
4. Enter the default password "retinax" without quotes and click OK.

After you perform the above step you will see the interface on your screen. It is highly recommended that you change your password and hot key sequence for added privacy. But the sections below are as equally important.

Start and Stop Recording

To start or stop recording, open the interface and click the "Start/Stop" button. If the "Start" button is visible then you are NOT recording. Click it once and it will turn to "Stop". When "Stop" is visible, you ARE recording. Anytime you hide the interface, make sure that "Stop" is visible unless you don't want to monitor.

Interface Hiding and Exiting

Screen-Spy records activity while hidden or visible, but only records while the program is loaded. So when you want to close the interface and keep monitoring, you should click the "Hide" button from the interface. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you click the "X" at the top right corner, you will EXIT the program which stops the recording until you restart your PC.

Viewing Activity

To view the slideshow, select a date at the bottom of the interface and click the "Play" button. Each image will be shown to you for the default four seconds. To skip to the next slide click "Next". To go back, click "Previous" as demonstrated below. Be sure to stop the slideshow before you hide the interface to record activity.

Image Commands and Other Commands

During a slideshow, if you find a slide that you want to keep safe, click "Stop" and then click the "Save" or "Print" button as demonstrated below. You can also "Delete" an image the same way. Anytime you want to refresh the images for the slideshow, click the "Reload" button.
